ARE OUR LIVES INDEPENDENT OR GOVERNED BY EXTERNAL FORCES LIKE PLANETS?

There is general opinion that everything happens as per the prearrangement and will of God. Most of the Saints of India are against this general opinion. They say that the position of planets at birth is so adjusted to suit the Karma of the previous birth. The normal life depends on the planetary positions at birth which was so adjusted to suit our Karma of the past birth. Since we are responsible for the planets position at birth, there should be some ability in us through spiritual resources in us to nullify the evil of planets and to utilise good of planets by doing good deeds and by meditation for good.
Now the question comes, that are we really governed by planets? If so how much utility of spiritual power is needed to nullify evil of planets and to utilise good of planets? There is need for investigation.
As a teenager I did not believe any such prearrangement of lives or the planetary influence on human lives. After the completion of my education, by reading some birthday forcasts by an astrologer Sri Peter Vidal in a newspaper, I got doubt about the relationship of planets and human life. I wanted to verify the truth personally and started reading books on astrology. The first book I read is " A to Z Horoscope Maker and Delineator" by Llewellyn George. It is the best book I read, though I read number of books in different astrologies. It gave me much scope to verify the relationship between the planets and human life.
One such instance is, as a biginner I have seen a horoscope wherein there is conjunction of planets Saturn and Sun with a difference of three degrees. The aspect is not nullified or reduced by other planets. It is in sign Taurus ruling throat/ neck. The aspect takes place in second house. The aspect can be full in three years time after the date of birth of the boy. Transiting Sun also joins the position of Saturn on the third day after birth. Due to support in transit it is possible to work out the exact date of evil, that is three years and three days after birth. The aspect indicates seriousness (even death) to an elderly person in the family. As I verified the maternal grand father of the boy died on the same day due to heart attack. When a close relative dies its inpressions can be found in all other horoscopes of close relatives. It is a law of nature. In olden days such evils are atributed to the boy, which is not correct. The impressions can be strong in the horoscope of the person who died and is carried forward as an indication in the horoscope of close relatives.
Another important thing to note is the conjunction of Sun and Saturn occurred in sign Taurus. Such conjunctions mark some permanant impressions on the bodily parts governed by Taurus (throat/neck), during aspect. The boy developed a white patch on the throat/neck, which no doctor could remove at later days.
The best way to verify astrology is to study the horoscope of self. I have come across wonders while verifying events from my own horoscope.
My horoscope is an example horoscope of the type, the astrologers search for. One of the great evil aspects of a horoscope is conjuction of the planets Saturn and Mars. For example, if the the same conjunction takes places in the sign Gemini and afflicted by Sun Moon or ascendant, usally a dead body is born without hands and legs by observation in astrology. The greatest evil position for this conjunction is in the first three degrees of the sign Aries in sayana system of western astrology. My horoscope possesses the same in the second house but unafflicted by Sun Moon or ascendant. There is another very good aspect of the conjuction of three planets Sun Jupitor and Venus in the sign Aquarius but in the twelth house and in square aspect to Uranus from the sign Taurus. This has power only to save me from any possibility of death resulting from evil conjuction only at the last moment. The second house rules finances and feelings of the individual, whereas the twelveth house rules the hidden life of the unconcious, seclusion, limitations etc. Just to indicate the power of evil I like to state an example. When the progresed ascendant touched this conjunction of Saturn and Mars in the second house in 1968 my father died, and I did not possess even a rupee for his funeral. More than anything else this evil conjunction affected my feelings most of my life period right upto the point of death. When I was about to die just one year before entering Engineering College, the help came from within ( that is from the subconcious mind) and meditation was born within me automatically ) duly nullifying the power of evil to a great extent. As a result my life vibrated between life and death due to one great evil and another great good and I have understood several secrets governing human life. Most of my writings on thought power and meditation are based on my personal experiences. One great evil aspect is not allowing me to live and another great good aspect is not allowing me to die. A DREAM SAVED MY LIFE:
A dream in my teenage really saved my life. We were living in an old type of house with stone slabs and earth laid over wooden beams and rafters. One night I had a dream indicating that the beam was cracked and hanging at the place where I sleep. The very next day was an Independence Day. In those days the celebrations were from morning to evening. So I was busy attending to celebrations. But the dream was continuously striking my mind, disturbing me from enjoying the celebrations. The next day when I got up in the morning, my sight directly fell on the wooden beam. I noticed a small crack in the beam. When I examined it closely, the crack was extending more than half of the beam. One more rain (usually it comes in the night) would have resulted in the breakdown and fall of the beam and roof over me. Moreover it was rainy season. When I informed the house owner, it was just a running race for him. He could manage to get a vertical support with a wooden log and erect it in no time. My dream saved me from near death.
     Life is not a simple one. Nobody knows what exactly life is and when and why and how it came into existence. Also the secrets of creation are also not known. It is also not known why humans are so intelligent compared to other living species? There are many theories regarding the creation of universe and the end of the universe. Many believe that the universe has come out of great thought power of God. And humans are also associated with similar mini thought power of God, through which they can approach God. Human life seems to be the resultant action of spiritual resources of humans and planetary positions at birth resulting in past Karma of previous births. If one follows closely his thoughts and actions and the circumstances, he can understand many secrets of life.
